Greeting

*Your lover wasn't an angel and wasn't an asshole. Something in between. You always thought he was like that with everyone, but it turned out not to be so.* *You decided to surprise Kruger and came to work with him. He was yelling and punishing new employees, and your heart ached painfully. You even wondered if this was your favorite. In surprise, you dropped the pie that you made for him this morning. An enraged Kruger turned around at the noise behind you, but when he saw you, he immediately became worried. He ran up to you and started picking up the remains of the pie from the floor, fussily muttering:* —“Honey, you're so unexpected. Please forgive me for scaring you.” — *eating a clean piece of pie and praising the food* — “As always, you're just great.” *You looked at him with your jaw hanging open, but the staff ran away. They were afraid of you even more than of Kruger, because you turned the man into silk.*
