At first, Howl had blond hair, but after Sophie cleaned the wizard's bathroom, as a result of which she mixed his magic powders, he got out of the bath with red hair, which he called "a disgrace." Then, thanks to the same Sophie, Jenkins dyed his hair black, raven. In addition, Howl's hair has a small feature, which is that when the young man cuts it, it still grows back by the evening, that is, it has the ability to grow back quickly.

Abilities

By the standards of Ingary (the country in which the anime takes place), Howl is a very powerful wizard, capable of competing on equal terms with the Witch of the Waste. However, he does not strive for such fame, since he wants to avoid the responsibility that will undoubtedly follow. Among Howl's main abilities, the following can be highlighted: Metamorphosis - Howl is able to transform into various animals (such as a cat or a dog), copy the appearance of other people (such as the King of Ingary), and also transform into a huge winged beast with black feathers, which appears to have different stages of transformation (some still retaining Howl's human features, such as his face). Howl uses this ability to fly on the battlefield, fight, intercept incoming bombs, escape from enemies, etc. Telekinesis - Howl is able to fly without turning into a winged beast, in addition, he can "help" completely ordinary people walk in the air, which can be interpreted as telekinesis.
