Naraku later resurrects Kohaku in order to force Sango to steal the Tessaiga. Blinded by desperation to get Kohaku back, Sango steals Inuyasha's sword, but does not give it to Naraku, so Naraku forces Kohaku to face her sister, so they will hate each other. But Sango was unable to hurt her brother, and was badly injured. Inuyasha, Kagome, Miroku, and Shippo go to find her, giving her support, so Sango eventually decides to join them in defeating Naraku.

Miroku

Miroku is a lecherous and womanizing monk, one of the main characters of the anime/manga Inuyasha. He meets Inuyasha and Kagome after they meet Shippō. Under natural conditions, Miroku is a very cautious person; he always prefers to think before acting rashly and thanks to this he has managed to survive in the chaotic era in which the story of the work takes place. His great intelligence and general knowledge of yokai and supernatural entities are very useful to Inuyasha and his traveling companions, but above all, Miroku has a spirit of sacrifice not hesitating to use the Wind Tunnel in a life or death situation regardless of risking his own life in the process. However, Miroku also has numerous flaws among which his lust stands out; It was precisely the lust inherited directly from his grandfather Miatsu that was the main cause of his greatest personal tragedy: the Black Hole curse imposed by Naraku, which threatens to kill him when the hole in his right hand has grown enough to swallow its bearer (the hole will gradually grow every time Miroku uses his power or over the years) in the same way that happened with his father and grandfather. Because of this lust, Miroku has the bad habit of asking any woman he meets on his path to marry her and leave her with offspring, thinking that his firstborn will be able to finish his task of hunting and killing Naraku. In an ironic twist of fate, an episode of the anime puts Miroku in a similar situation where he seeks the support of a young woman who turns out to be a yokai. His Kazaana gets scratched before destroying the yokai, which forces him to seek medical help from his former caretaker, Mushin. Although his personality matures over time thanks to the entrance of Sango, the skilled warrior and yokai exterminator, in his life, he still has these bad habits, although to a lesser extent. Miroku is a rather perverted character who likes to touch the different attributes of women. As he is a monk, he travels from town to town "helping" people. Whenever he detects a house or castle possessed by a demon, he goes to offer his services and expels the demon, for which the people who live there reward him with food, lodging or material goods. Miroku is strong enough to fight several demons head on even without using the black hole in his right hand. However, when things get really bad and there are too many enemies, then he always has that last resort. Even though his duty as a monk is to help, Miroku makes sure he is well rewarded for his services. He doesn't mind blackmailing the feudal lord into paying him a huge fee or even telling him that he will expel a non-existent demon in order to sleep under cover for one night. Even though others disapprove of his methods, Miroku always manages to get them into the best spots in each village.

Shippo

Shippo is a main character in the manga and anime InuYasha. "Shippō" means "Seven Treasures" (such as gold, silver, pearls, agate, crystal, coral, and lapis lazuli) in Japanese. He is the character who gives stability and unity to the group. Shippo appears to be a small child but stands out for his fox tail and paws since, in reality, he is a demon fox (kitsune). He has brown, messy hair tied back in a ponytail with a blue-green bow, he has pointy ears and large green eyes although sometimes they appear blue. His fox tail is blond like his father's skin, only a little lighter. Shippo is a kitsune, or in other words, a demon fox. Shippo lived with his father in the trunk of a maple tree deep in the forest. One morning Shippo went out to collect hazelnuts, as he collected many he returned home very happy; but he found a terrifying sight: two monsters, one in the form of a human and the other in the form of a frog: The Lightning Brothers, laughing cruelly and saw his dead father, whose skin the youngest used as a belt. Shippo felt devastated and wanders through the forest looking for a way to avenge his father. At first, he attacks Inuyasha and Kagome to steal their fragments of the Shikon Pearl (as Assault). He usually falls in love with human girls and maintains a mature attitude towards monster girls (like Soten, the youngest of the lightning brothers, who ends up falling in love with him). On rare occasions he is seen with active participation in a battle that is not his, his specialty is traps and deceptions and in case of need, he can transform into a pink balloon to transport a maximum of two people for a limited space and time. In addition, he wishes that fights do not arise between Kagome and Inuyasha. He is very good friends with Kirara, Sango's pet. He is almost always seen with Kagome and she gives him sweets, colored pencils and paper so that he entertains himself by drawing. At the end of the manga, the old woman Kaede asks him if he was taking the Kitsune-You-Jutsu exam (which consists of a competition between foxes in which they meet once a year to deceive people and get points for it. Their highest grade is 1st major rank and the lowest is inferior weak novice) to which he responds that he has advanced and shows a scroll that corroborated because he had reached the seventh superior major rank.

Kirara (雲母, きらら) is a Yōkai Nekomata who accompanies Sango and her friends. Kirara is one of the most important characters since she helps protect Sango and her friends. She is a Yōkai Nekomata over 500 years old. She has two aspects: one is her normal, small appearance and the other is the appearance she takes to fight or to protect a member of the group. In its first appearance it appears as a small and tender animal with very light blond fur with black spots on its legs, ears, forehead and tail that is divided in two. Its eyes are red with a black pupil, and its hair forms a kind of scarf on its neck. In its second form it is exactly the same only it gets bigger. The fangs that protrude from its mouth also grow and flames come out at the end of its legs and tail. Due to its magical nature, it has supernatural strength, flies and has a fantastic appearance: a two-tailed feline with big red eyes. In addition, it can appear in two different forms, depending on the situation it is in. Not only is it a great ally but throughout most of the story, it serves as transport for Miroku and Sango, and occasionally for Shippo. Kagome travels on Inuyasha's back, thus taking a burden off Kirara. In the anime Kirara is also shown to be a great help to Inuyasha as sometimes Inuyasha trains with her for the use of his sword and thanks to her he destroys Entei. There is another of her kind called Kuroro. In the anime it is revealed that they use her for various things, Inuyasha to train, Miroku to bring young women closer and keep old ones away, Myoga sucks her blood. It was the creature that accompanied Midoriko and later became Sango's father's pet, who gave it to Sango when she was a child. Sango then gave it to Kohaku at the end of the series.
