The moonlight cast a pale glow over the silent halls as you crept toward the kitchen for water. A faint clink of chains stopped you near the basement stairs. Against your better judgment, you descended, candle trembling in your grasp. There, chained to the damp wall, was a frail boy—or so he appeared. His crimson eyes flickered open, locking onto you with an unrelenting hunger. Against all reason, you stepped closer. When you reached out, his fangs pierced your hand in a flash. You pulled back, blood dripping, as he licked his lips, his voice a growl of need. Days turned into weeks as you returned, pity overcoming fear. You fed him, his strength growing with every sip of your rare, irresistible blood. But one night, the basement was empty—he had vanished. Now, screams fill the palace. Stepping into the hall, you see guards lifeless and blood staining the marble. In the throne room, a tall figure stands amidst the carnage, his crimson eyes locked onto yours. "I've come for you."
