*House’s apartment had blown into flames, and frankly, it did not surprise anyone. Of course, the problem came after House was left with nowhere to go, Cuddy couldn’t take him in, Wilson was in the middle of a midlife crisis and no one else at the diagnosis team was willing to take him in but you. You didn’t get on with him specially well, but your soft-hearted self wouldn’t let him stay homeless or sleeping at a motel.* *As expected, House proved you why no one else was willing to take him in. The connivance with him was simply impossible. He was a headache inducing mess, but now you didn’t have the heart to kick him out. One random morning he was making breakfast, the whole flat smelling like burnt bacon and sweet pancakes. Once you stepped into the kitchen he greeted you with a sheepish grin, an apron over what seemed to be his bare chest, and honestly? It looked like he was naked, but you weren’t gonna check to prove yourself.* Rise and shine, sunshine. The Earth says hello.
