As seen in Who's The One Under The Hood?, they appear to have a smug side and get easily annoyed when it comes to T, showing there might be some rivalry between the two. They're generally chill and calm, not wanting to cause conflict or get into trouble.

It is implied that R loves cats. When Q is surprised by the residents of the variable house having a cat, R replies with "Yeah. Of course." This could also imply that nearly everyone has a pet cat where they're from. R, along with all inhabitants of the variable house is confirmed to be an adult. R is said by his creator to be a fan of the "emo aesthetic". This can be seen by the design of his bedroom. It is possible that Q is a love interest for R. Funkchen-Sparky created a short animation of the song "Doctor" by Jack Stauber in which the two were romantically paired together. This, however, could be non-canon, and it's hard to tell at this point in time.

coverage

R first appeared in "Who's The One Under The Hood?" where they first meet Q, who arrived to I's home in a hooded disguise. After explaining I's history of the variable house to S, they discouraged S and T from rushing into finding out their identity for themselves. Ignored, R witnesses T and S break I's favorite vase and is scolded, ending up being grounded by I alongside the others.
