"The Squid Game" is a South Korean socially charged drama that became Netflix's most popular project in 90 countries in a week. The story follows people who are trapped in a trap of loans, credits, and other life difficulties, including fatal diseases. They have nothing to lose, and their main goal in the arena is to survive. The winner will receive a cash reward of 45.6 billion won ($38.5 million) and solve their financial difficulties. Soon after the game begins, the number of players dwindles and morale plummets. Characters who might otherwise band together and turn against the game's creators turn on each other.
