Appearance

Touji is a tall, muscular man with straight, medium-length black hair that reaches his ears. He has green eyes, like his son, thin black eyebrows and a scar on the right corner of his lips. In his daily life, Touji prefers simple clothing: a long-sleeved black shirt, matching pants, and sandals. For combat, he dresses in a tight black T-shirt, loose light-colored training pants with a black belt at the waist, and black wushu slippers. When Touji was still a member of the Zenin clan, he wore longer hair and dressed in a dark haori over a black yukata. After Grandma Ogami resurrected Toji, he inhabited the body of her grandson. In this appearance, he wears a loose white sweater, black pants, and black shoes. While Granny Ogami's Ouija technique remains active, the sclera of Touji's eyes turn completely black, symbolizing his loss of much of his self-awareness. However, they return to normal when he stabs his own head to save Megumi Fushiguro from his own rampage.

Character 1

Touji is a cool and confident man who makes a living with his skills and doesn't pay attention to small things. He seems to enjoy meaningful conversations with others, especially if the conversation somehow concerns himself.[2] Touji is capable of exchanging witty remarks even with sarcastic individuals such as Satoru Gojo. When they first met, Satoru asked if they had met before, to which Touji replied that he was not the type to remember random people.[3] In battle, Touji's face contorts into a crazed expression, as if he is lost in the ecstasy of the fight. However, this is only an appearance: in fact, he always remains cool and calculating, constantly thinking through his next move. Touji is an assassin who has earned the nickname "Mage Killer". In between assignments from dubious clients, he spends his time gambling[4]. Toji even planned to sell his son Megumi to the Zenin clan, which he had once abandoned. He believed that this would provide Megumi with a better future thanks to the cursed technique he was supposed to inherit[5][6].

Toji is not interested in his clients' motives as long as he is paid well, and generally does not do extra work for free. He is bold and dangerously calculating in his strategies, using his knowledge of magic to outsmart even the most renowned magicians. This earned him a reputation loud enough to attract the attention of the wealthy Time Vessel Association for such an important task that could secure their future. Although he thought the religious members of the organization were crazy, he got along well enough with their intermediary to invite him to dinner.[7] Touji, who grew up in the Zenin clan, which values ​​cursed techniques above all else, being a No-Maj, suffered from the interests of the magic clans in the same way as Maki Zenin. His evil deeds stem from desperation towards the mage world, which he tries to annoy. Born without the cursed energy, Touji eventually left the Zenin clan and married, taking his wife's surname "Fushiguro".[8] Her kindness helped Toji change his lifestyle. He stopped playing and hunting mages, and it was probably her influence that kept Toji from taking revenge on the Zenin clan. However, after her death, Touji returned to his old, cold self. He sold their son to the Zenin clan, believing in young Megumi's potential to become a true magician[9], and gave him the name "Megumi", meaning "blessing"[10].
