Overview & Appearance & Personality

One of the nine members of the Demon Slayer Corps, and her nickname is Yeonju (恋柱). She uses the Breath of Love, which is derived from the Breath of Flame. With two-toned hair that is a mixture of pink and green, and green eyes, she is a beauty that even Kamado Tanjiro, a stone-faced person, would shed blood from his nose. She is characterized by a unique fashion point that would not be common in the Taisho period, such as a revealing uniform with an open top and a short skirt, and band stockings. Her hair is braided into three pigtails. Her hair has a unique color that changes from pink to green as it goes down from the top of her head. She loves sakura mochi (桜餅) so much that she ate 170 of them a day for 8 months, which made her dyed like salmon or flamingo. She was very anxious and asked that no one ever tell her about this. Along with Agatsuma Zenitsu, she is one of the few characters whose hair color has been revealed to be different. Among the female characters appearing in the work, this is the character who stands out the most for being rich. Along with Shinobu, she is one of the top beauties in the Demon Slayer world. As expected of a Breath of Love user, she has a lively and loving personality. Although she is the top of the Demon Slayer Corps, she doesn't really talk about her status and treats most people friendly. She is the type to show favor if you show her a little coolness. She has a pure and natural personality, but she seems to have a bit of a clumsy side. She is used to taking care of children because she is close to her siblings and has five siblings in her family. Mitsuri's approachable attitude has also helped Kamado Nezuko relax a lot, such as when Nezuko is the first to hug her and play with her or make a sad expression at parting. Among the lords, her life before entering the Guisaldae was the most smooth. She was born into a wealthy and harmonious family and grew up without any lack. The reason she entered the Guisaldae was to express her true self and find someone who would love her. She liked strong men who could protect her, so she entered the Guisaldae, which has many strong people, and among them, she trained hard to meet the strongest lords often and became a lord. Most people who heard her story are speechless and embarrassed because she entered the Guisaldae for such a strange reason. Although she is the newest member of the current Golden Generation Lords, her strength is certain as she has risen to the position. Of the female characters who have directly appeared in the work, except for Kanae, who is already deceased at the time of the work and whose fighting power is unknown, she is considered the strongest. Despite her slender figure, she has innate muscle density that is eight times that of an average person, so she is characterized by incredible strength and innate physical ability that are among the top-tier within the Golden Generation Lords, as well as unrivaled flexibility, a wide slashing range utilizing the characteristics of the soft sword, and an extremely fast attack speed that is the highest level within the Demon Slayer Corps. The only downside is that it's too simple. Tanjiro, who has a similar personality, is quite good at making quick decisions and using his brain, so he has a great sense of battle, but Mitsuri has suffered greatly from mistakes in judgment. A user of the Breath of Love derived from the Breath of Flame, she originally learned the Breath of Flame as Tsuguko of the Rosary Rengoku Kyoujuro[34], but because it had too strong of an individuality, it was derived into her own unique breathing method. In other words, Breath of Love is an original breathing method created by Mitsuri, similar to Inosuke's Beast Breath. It is said that the reason the name of the technique includes the word "cat" is because Mitsuri likes cats very much. Mitsuri's incredible strength, combined with her excellently curved sword, allows her to boast an attack speed that is faster than that of former shinobi Uzui Tengen. She is also close with her younger siblings, and takes good care of Nezuko. Iguro Obanai: The person who took away Mitsuri's loneliness, and the person she loves the most. Mitsuri was a woman of marriageable age, and since her reason for enlisting was marriage, she had been attracted to many men of the opposite sex, but she says that no one made her heart flutter more than Obanai. He helped her when she was lost when they first met, and he looked at her with kind eyes when they had meals together. They also exchanged letters on a personal level, and his handwriting in his letters seemed to be very stylish, which suited Obanai's literary youthful taste [43]. He also helped Mitsuri overcome her complex about how much she ate, despite her past trauma from the smell of oil. Obanai himself fell in love with Mitsuri at first sight, who was able to smile normally and happily in the harsh demon slaughter area, and gave her the long socks she was wearing in the story as a gift. They were literally each other's saviors. Even after that, they continued to love each other, but Obanai gave up confessing because of his past, and Mitsuri was unable to confess because of the trauma from the past blind date. Also, she did not realize that Obanai was only kind to her, and suppressed her feelings, saying that Obanai was only kind to everyone, but Mitsuri was the only person to whom Obanai was this kind. Kochou Shinobu: They were best friends because they were both female. It is said that Mitsuri sometimes taught Shinobu how to cook, and they would often have tea together when they met. It seems that they wanted to hang out together more often, but they couldn't because of the lack of time, which was a shame. Also, Mitsuri asked Shinobu for relationship advice because of her relationship with Obanai, but Shinobu was also terrible at relationships and had a unique way of thinking, so she wasn't much help. As a result, he was moderate in his treatment of Tanjiro during the trial, and his perception of him has remained positive ever since. Kamado Nezuko: She didn't discriminate against Nezuko, who was a goblin, and found her cute. Nezuko also opened her heart to the kind-hearted Mitsuri and acted spoiled. She liked it when Tanjiro tied her hair in the same way as Mitsuri.
