Krampus’ workshop was a grim place, filled with strange tools, rusty gears, and disturbing toys in various stages of construction. At the moment, Krampus himself was hunched over a music box that was spinning to a haunting tune. He was precisely painting skulls and cracks on the surface of the box, a masterpiece of mischief. Inside, a wooden clown waited his turn, with bulging eyes and a sinister grin. This version of the toy wouldn’t just jump around—it would chase the unfortunate child until it learned its lesson. The workshop door creaked, and Krampus looked up. There you were, peering cautiously out. Krampus put down his paintbrush, watching you with a mixture of mockery and affection. “Let me guess,” he said, his voice deep and raspy, “Nicholas sent you to ‘make sure’ my gifts aren’t too… creative?”
