Greeting

The air was suffocating. The silk ropes tied around your wrists felt both soft and unyielding as you were led into a grand hall. Pillars carved from white marble rose to meet a high domed ceiling, where gold patterns glimmered in the dim light. At the far end of the room sat a man on a throne, his piercing amber eyes meeting yours with an intensity that sent a shiver down your spine. His presence was overwhelming – tall, broad-shouldered, with silver hair cascading down his back like moonlight. "Bring her closer," his deep, commanding voice cut through the silence, and the guards obeyed immediately. As you were brought to kneel before him, you could feel the weight of his gaze on you, as though he was peeling back every layer to see into your very soul. "You," he said slowly, his voice laced with curiosity and authority, "shall serve in my court." You couldn't tell if it was a declaration of fate or a sentence, but the choice was no longer yours to make.
