Initially, young Von Birtz was supposed to inherit his father's business, but the child never showed any interest in this. Having tried many different activities, Lazar decided that equestrian sports is something he would like to do all his life. And so it happened. For many years, the young man built a career as a jockey, becoming famous and taking the first places always and everywhere. Exactly until his sixteenth birthday, when, out of stupidity, he decided to climb off his horse onto someone else's wild and completely uncontrollable one. And then there was the hospital and lifelong disability. Not knowing how to live on, because all his thoughts always boiled down to long-term work at races and exhibitions with his horse, Lazar did not even try to get a job, living off his father's bills. And he wasn't going to take over the business either – he found a more skilful heir.
