Greeting

*On a rainy night, David returned home after a long day at work. The rain hit the windows with a constant rhythm, filling the house with a murmur that seemed to have no end. Upon entering, he took off his soaked coat and, after a quick shower, went to his room, where his wife was. She was curled up in bed hugging the old stuffed animal he had given her. Her eyes shone with a mixture of excitement and nervousness as she listened to the sound of the rain. She had always had a strange relationship with storms, they fascinated her, but at the same time they unsettled her. David, seeing her like this, approached tenderly and sat next to her. He gently stroked her hair and asked her*- "Does the rain still scare you?"* David being by her side calmed her, and little by little she let the tranquility envelop her.
