squid game
The Squid Game is a deadly underground competition organized for desperate people with insurmountable debts or financial problems. Players are recruited under the promise of winning an exorbitant amount of money, but what they don't initially know is that losing at this game means losing their lives. Game Structure: Participants: People on the brink of economic collapse are selected. Once they agree to participate, they are taken to a secret, isolated location. Prize: A huge accumulated pot, the final amount of which depends on the number of participants. Each eliminated player adds more money to the prize. Rules: There are six games, based on traditional Korean children's games. However, each game has a deadly twist. Elimination: Losing a game means immediate death, executed by the Guards. Control and Surveillance: The participants are constantly watched by masked guards with triangle, circle, and rectangle masks depending on their level and pink suits, and by cameras by the Leader who wears a black suit and a black mask. Leaving the game once it has started is not allowed, although a single democratic vote to cancel is offered after the first game. Each game is played every 1 day after playing the first one
Games
Game 1: “Green Light, Red Light” Participants are led to play a deadly version of “Red Light, Green Light.” In a wide open field surrounded by high walls that prevent any escape, the 456 players are led into the playing area without knowing what awaits them. During the game, a robotic doll controls the movements. When the doll has its back turned and sings a song, it is “Green Light” and the players can move forward. However, when the doll says “Red Light” and turns to face the players, they must come to a complete stop. If anyone moves during “Red Light,” they are eliminated and killed by a shot from a gun on the walls of the room. The goal is to reach the finish line without moving at the wrong time, strictly following the doll’s instructions. Game 2: The "Cookie Game" begins with 212 players. Each participant chooses a shape from a circle, triangle, star or umbrella, without knowing its purpose. They then receive a cookie in a container with the chosen shape engraved in the center. The goal is to cut the shape out of the cookie using a metal needle, without breaking it, all within a 10-minute time limit. If the cookie breaks or they fail to extract the shape correctly, they are eliminated. Some players use clever strategies, such as licking the cookie to soften the sugar, while others succumb to the pressure. This game results in a drastic reduction in the number of survivors.
Games
Game 3 - Tug of War - This is played by the 102 players who survive the first two games. Players are divided into teams of 10, and the goal is to win a traditional tug-of-war game, in which two teams pull a rope in opposite directions. The team that manages to get the other to cross a line in the middle wins. However, the game has a deadly twist: the losing team is thrown from a height, falling into the void, resulting in the immediate death of all its members. Players must use strategy, strength, and teamwork to survive, and not only physical strength is key, but also intelligence and the ability to manipulate the opposing team. The number of survivors is drastically reduced after this game. Game 4: "Gunshot" This is played by the 60 players who survive the fourth game. In this challenge, players are divided into pairs without knowing what they will play for, and each receives 10 marbles. The goal is to win all of the opposing pair's marbles, either by playing traditional marble games or by making up your own rules. What makes this game especially cruel, however, is that the loser of each round is immediately executed. Players must use their cunning and manipulate their partner to win, though some face difficult moral choices when they must choose between cooperation or betrayal. At the end of the game, only 16 survivors remain. 5: "Glass Panels" is played by the 16 players remaining after the fourth game. In this challenge, players must cross a bridge made of glass panels suspended at a high altitude. Each panel is either tempered glass or regular glass. Tempered glass panels can support the weight of players, but regular glass panels break when stepped on, causing players to fall into the void and die instantly. Players must carefully choose which panel to step on, and there are 1 or 2 or 3 remaining.
Final game and prize
The 6th game: "Squid Game" is the ultimate and most brutal challenge of the games. It is played on a field with a squid figure drawn on the ground, and has two main phases: an attack phase and a defense phase. The attacking player starts at the squid's "head" and must advance through the squid's zones to reach the end point, while the defender tries to stop him using physical force. The attacker must reach the end point and mark it to win, but the defender can fight to prevent this. The goal is to eliminate the opponent at all costs, whether by pushing, blocking, or attacking, and only one of the two players can survive. Like other games, the violence is extreme, and eliminated players are executed. The winner gets the grand prize of 45.6 billion won. One of the players must defeat the other to win the prize. The Prize: The final prize for the winner is a huge amount of money, equivalent to 45.6 billion won (approximately 38 million USD). This prize is the total sum of the bets of all the eliminated players during the previous games, making the value of the prize incredibly high. The winner is the only one who survives and gets the money.
Places of the place
1. The Entrance Area / Main Hall: This is the first place players arrive after being kidnapped and taken to the compound. Here, they meet the other contestants and the masked guards. The hall has a very simple decor, with piles of interlocking beds from the 465 players. 2. The "Red Light, Green Light" Field: A wide open field without any cover, where players must run towards the goal while avoiding moving when the robotic doll turns over. The place is surrounded by high walls and the gigantic doll that watches over them. 3. The "Cookie Cut" Area: A space with individual tables, where each player receives a Dalgona cookie. Each table is divided by low walls, which limits the field of vision, but at the same time creates an environment of pressure and isolation. This place is gloomy, with dim lights and an oppressive atmosphere. 4. The Glass Bridge: An elevated bridge, composed of glass panels, some safe and some breakable. Players must cross this bridge without knowing which panels will hold their weight. The landscape below is a terrifying abyss, adding to the sense of danger. 5. The Marbles Room: This game takes place in a small, secluded location, with individual spaces where pairs of players can face off. The walls are simple, and the space is claustrophobic, reflecting the emotional and moral tension of the game. 6. The "Squid Game": The final venue is a sizable field, with a squid figure drawn on the ground. This field has several sections, including a goal line, a defender's area, and an attacker's area. The environment is large, but the pressure mounts as players must face off against each other. 7. "Bathrooms" for women and men are normal bathrooms.
