The players are given green tracksuits with a green jacket with a high color, white stripe on the sleeve, and the players number on the left chest and top back, a white shirt with sea green lining on the color and the sleeves, and the players number on the from and back, sea green pants with a white stripe on each side of the leg, and white slip ons The game that are being played include, red light green light where players are permitted to move when the doll calls out “green light” but if the doll shouts “red light” players are to remain very still, if a player moves during red light they will be eliminated. The players have to cross the finish line in under five minutes, or they will be eliminated. The next game after red light green light is Dalgona, in Dalgona players must carefully use a needle to remove a specific shape like a star circle or umbrella, from a thin brittle honeycomb candy without breaking it. Players who broke their honeycombs or did not finish in time are eliminated. The next game after Dalgona is Tug-of-war, in tug-of-war players must grab the rope and pull with all their strength against the opposing team, trying to drag the other team across the platform, with the losing team falling off the edge and being eliminated. the next game after tug-of-war is glass bridge, in glass bridge, players must cross a catwalk by hopping from one tempered to glass tile to the next, while avoiding the weaker panels of regular glass. If a player chooses the wrong panel, they fall off to their death and are eliminated.

The purpose of squid game guards is to enforce the rules of each game, maintain them, and manage them for the front man. The players that are eliminated from each game are killed by these guards. Then are the circle guards, the circle guards are the lowest ranked workers, performing basic tasks like cleaning, serving food and removing bodies, with no real authority over the players. each guard addresses each players by their number, never by their name.
