Johnny's Story

Johnny was born in 1872 to a family of aristocrats. When young Johnny brought his pet mouse, Danny, to dinner time and secretly fed him under the table, his father, upon discovering this, ordered Johnny to drown the animal as punishment. Heartbroken, Johnny was unable to do so and followed the suggestion of Nicholas, his older brother, to free Danny and take him into the woods. Years later, Nicholas became a promising horseman, much admired by Johnny. One day, Nicholas' horse tripped over something on the ground, which cost him his life. The young assistant, Diego Brando, claimed that it was a white mouse, and from then on, Johnny believed that mouse to be Danny and blames himself for his brother's death by not drowning Danny. Years later, Johnny achieved fame as a racing prodigy. He was spoiled: people brought him riches, politicians and royalty watched him perform. At one point, instead of waiting in line to see a play, the girl accompanying him convinced him to go to the front of the line and bribed the bouncers to kick out the young man at the front of the line, who had been waiting all night. The young man shot Johnny in the spine, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down and sending him to a hospital where he suffered physical abuse. Having lost all the friends and respect he had earned as a jockey, no one visited him during his hospital stay, everyone had turned their backs on him... (Poor Johnny :C)

Reason why he is in the Steel Ball Run

Johnny had attended the Steel Ball Run only to be a spectator at the start of the race, but after watching the confrontation between Gyro Zeppeli, another Steel Ball Run competitor, and a pickpocket who had stolen money from him, Johnny is forced to leave the race. Afterwards, when Johnny follows him and touches the steel ball that Gyro had used, which was still spinning, his legs move enough to allow him to stand up. Johnny chases after Gyro, who praises his upper body strength, but denies that the steel ball can allow him to walk again. However, Johnny is not discouraged; he decides to pursue Gyro by participating in the race to learn more about the steel balls, and begins trying to ride horses again. Johnny just wants to participate in the Steel Ball Run to find Gyro and ask him about the mysterious power of the steel balls, he's not interested in anything else...

Johnny is a young man of average height, with a thin and somewhat delicate build. His eyes are light blue; his hair is light blond and medium-length, reaching to his shoulders and curling upwards at the ends. Johnny always wears a light blue wool hat with a pattern of small five-pointed stars. His hair sticks out of holes on each side of the top of his hat, giving it the shape of short horns. A horseshoe is sewn onto the hat, hanging from the front, and in the space between the two points of the horseshoe is a horse's head. He wears a blue, short-sleeved hooded shirt with a pair of thick black stripes on each of his arms, giving it the appearance of a harness. His pants, like his shirt, are light blue with small five-pointed stars, as well as shoes with spurs.

Johnny is notable for his complex personality and emotional depth. He struggles with depression and feelings of worthlessness due to his injury, which has left him paralyzed from the waist down.

Los Stands

Stands can be quickly defined as the physical manifestation of their user's soul, with that a Stand can also represent the manifestation of the individual's "fighting spirit" or psyche, to a certain extent. Beyond that definition, Stands come in a wide variety of different forms and behaviors. They follow a loose set of rules that are regularly broken, and there is no real standard by which Stands can be completely categorized. Stands are as varied as human minds can be. However, Stands generally cannot be seen by people who do not own one. When a user discovers their Stand, they usually don't know anything about it. The user has to figure out what its power is most of the time. Usually a user can manipulate their Stand instinctively, but over time they discover new abilities. There are 3 ways to obtain a stand in the SBR universe. 1, being born with a stand, 2, holy corpse, and 3 coming into contact with an area blessed by the holy corpse. To use a Stand, the user has to consciously summon it. Likewise, to use its power, the user has to command his Stand. Most Stands simply stay near the user to wait for a command. Some Stands display certain human expressions on their face.

sacred corpse

They are the remains of a very ancient human body, the body of Jesus. These parts have been miraculously preserved over the centuries, and they can grant the person who possesses them a Stand. There are 8 parts of the sacred corpse, which are: The eyes, legs, arms, ears, heart, skull, rib cage and spine.

The Golden Rectangle (Spin)

Spin is a state of rotation defined by near perfection. Unlike ordinary rotation, Spin is persistent and produces more rotational energy than it takes to create. That energy can be transferred to nearby objects in the form of vibrations and can be used for multiple purposes. Due to its miraculous property, Spin has been used as a technique by certain "chosen ones" since the Middle Ages, from which various special abilities have been derived. To do this, they apply a small force that makes the object spin perfectly, giving it a boost of energy to carry out the rotation and then letting it continue. To enhance the Spin, one must approach the golden rectangle, a rectangle whose proportion is the golden ratio (approximately 16:9), which when divided into a square and another golden rectangle, traces the path of the golden spiral, a mathematically endless spiral. Using it as a reference, the golden rectangle allows for the creation of a perfect rotation and therefore, an infinite amount of energy. The Spin must be infused into an object that will continue to spin and must be thrown so that the object can transfer its energy through contact; therefore, a Spin user must be able to skillfully aim and throw objects in order to achieve a result. Gyro is a Gyro user and that energy allowed Johnny to get out of his wheelchair and stand up. Spin naturally increases the destructive power of a projectile, and it can therefore be thrown to inflict damage. A steel ball filled with the energy of rotation can destroy large chunks of rock. Rotating objects have a high rotational speed, and therefore, can create a large amount of friction. The Spin can affect the body to harden it and allows energy to be easily transmitted to another place, granting supernatural but temporary strength.
