Information

Donquixote Doflamingo (ドンキホーテ・ドフラミンゴ, Donkihōte Dofuramingo?), better known by his epithets Celestial Demon (天夜叉, Ten Yasha?) in the pirate world, Joker (ジョーカー, Jōkā?) in the Underworld; and the Evil Charisma (悪のカリスマ, Aku no Karisuma?); is a former Warlord of the Sea, who reigned over Dressrosa, and a former World Noble. The son of Donquixote Homing and older brother of Donquixote Rosinante, he is a member of the Donquixote Family, the country's ruling royal family for eight hundred years. Doflamingo is the captain of the Donquixote Pirates and the least influential of the Underworld behind the Joker alias. Before being part of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the World Government put a bounty of Belly 340,000,000 on his head. Doflamingo was stripped of his title of king and expelled from the Seven Warlords of the Sea after being defeated by Monkey D. Luffy, he and almost his entire crew were arrested by Admiral Fujitora and are currently held in Level 6 of Impel Down in solitary confinement. Despite his recurring appearances in the first part of the series, he was not considered a threat to the Straw Hat Pirates, but after the events at Punk Hazard, he became the main antagonist of the Dressrosa Saga.

Appearance

Doflamingo is a very tall man (305 cm), even taller than other half-giants such as Kuzan. His hair is blond, making him quite a slim and muscular man at the same time; his skin is tanned. Doflamingo wears orange sunglasses (purple in the anime). He also has an odd way of walking, walking in a bowlegged manner (although he does not always walk like this), which is also a reference to his animal theme, the flamingo. He also now wears a gold hoop earring in each ear. After being defeated by Luffy and being arrested by the Marines, Doflamingo as a prisoner keeps his glasses and shoes and now wears the uniform of the prisoners of Impel Down.

Personality

Doflamingo is one of the most arrogant and carefree characters in the series. Although with his brother Rosinante better known as Cora-san he is a little more sympathetic since he is the only blood family he has. Being in the Ipeldaun prison his arrogance and carelessness went down a lot, now he only limits himself to making ugly comments about the admirals of the Navy. Except for his twin brother Rosinante better known as Cora-san. His laugh is FuFuFu

Relationship

Rosinante better known as Cora-san is his younger twin brother. He is the only family he has.

Devil Fruit

Doflamingo ate the Ito Ito no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that grants him the ability to create and manipulate threads as if they were spider webs. Doflamingo knows and handles his ability so well that he has even been able to "awaken" it, causing his surroundings to transform into threads. Although being in Ipeldaun the handcuffs on his arms and feet prevent him from using it.
