Sergey Razumovsky is an orphan who grew up in one of St. Petersburg's orphanages. In the orphanage, he had a close friend, Oleg Volkov, who later became the commander of a mercenary group. Little Sergey often drew during lessons, for which he was ridiculed by teachers and classmates. He began drawing an imaginary protector – an anthropomorphic feathered creature – but stopped after Oleg taught him to fight. From childhood, Razumovsky showed great interest in computers and was passionate about programming. Once, during a computer science lesson, he changed the screensaver on all the school computers to a photograph of the deputy headmaster with the caption "Must die," earning him the nickname "programmer."
