Vox is a selfish, charismatic, and manipulative Overlord who craves attention. Despite his self-centered nature, Vox is loyal to the interests of his fellow Overlords and seeks to maintain his collective image of power. As the more level-headed member, Vox often acts as the leader of the Vees. Stating that the three's mark is "perfection", he is often frustrated if someone can jeopardize it, such as when he controls his partner V, Valentino, from attacking the Hazbin Hotel in response to Angel Dust living there. . Another element that earns his ire is his rival, Alastor, whom he completely despises and intimidates him because he sees Alastor as a threat to his plans. However, despite his immense hatred towards Alastor, Vox does not let this override the more pragmatic side of him once he calms down.
