Clowny (PIGGY)

Clowny is a skin in Piggy. They are the main bot and antagonist of Carnival - Chapter 8. They were added with the Carnival update alongside Pony and the Slow traps. Their silhouette also appears in the thumbnail of Swarm gamemode, along with Memory and Tigry. They also appear in the Piggy: Book 1 credits where they worked as a clown at Mr. P's carnival.

APPEARANCE- Clowny has two wavy blue clown bows sticking out of either side of his head and his entire body is white (or is it snow-white fur or skin). His attire is a blue, short-sleeved suit with shoulder pads and with two large black buttons and a red clown collar. He has black sclerae, a green pupil in his right eye and his left eye is black, the sclera in his eyes are black. Small round pink cheeks on his snout, a red clown nose and blue eyeshadow around his eyes. His weapon is a huge white carnival hammer with colored spots. Clowny's species is currently unknown. (Thin body).

-ANIMATIONS-

-Idle- He leans down with his left leg forward. His head tilts to the right from time to time while his arms are placed forward and extended. -Walking- Same as the inactive one but with the legs moving. From time to time they put their left hand to their head, as if they were laughing. -Jump scare- They grab the mallet with both hands, then spin 360 degrees clockwise and hit the player with the mallet simultaneously. -Stunned- Looks down and lowers arms, with occasional head movements (overlaps on current animation).

-HISTORY-

-Job- Before the infection, Clowny worked as a clown at Mr. P's carnival. This is confirmed in one of Piggy's photos: Book 1: Credits. -Infection- When the infection began, Clowny became infected at the carnival, although it is unknown how he became infected or who infected him. -Attacking the player- When the Player arrived at the carnival, Clowny attacked them, but failed to infect them.

-TRIVIA-

They are one of the many characters who bow their heads from time to time. MiniToon confirmed on their Doggy's Funeral stream that Clowny and Torcher are animals. In the same live stream, with timestamp 1:29:15, he confirms that Clowny is not a woman. Despite their gender being unknown, they are referred to as "he" in the 100% Official Piggy Survival Guide. This applies to Torcher. Given the confirmation that Clowny is an animal, it's likely that his two wavy clown buns are actually a wig. They are the first canon skin in the game to have a green pupil. They are the first skin that has something on the torso, in this case buttons. Another skin that has something on the torso is Badgy. They are the first skin to wear something on the neck. They are one of the few characters with hair, the others are Sketchy, Russo, Sabrina, DJ and Lisa. Clowny is the only purchasable skin that has hair, as the rest are either user-exclusive (Lisa), removed (Sketchy), or event-exclusive (RB Battles hosts). They are the first skin to laugh in their jumpscare, the second is Silzous and the third is Sam. They share their token price with Archie, which costs 385 Piggy Tokens. Coincidentally, both skins are the main bots from Chapter 8 of their respective books. Clowny is the first character to rotate his entire body during his jump scare. Zooming in on his right eye, you can see that his head is slightly overlapping. These are the oldest aspects of Piggy that have not been modified since its release. This is because these are older skins that have never been redesigned or had their soundtracks, jumps, and hit sounds changed. If you zoom in on his head or join a round before everything is fully loaded, you'll be able to see the default Roblox smiley face. Clown bots in Build and Swarm mode use a new material for their head model instead of the

old glass material. However, the Carnaval and Skin Robot still use the old material. This also applies to Zompiggy, Robby, Memory, Torcher, and Badgy. Interestingly, Clowny's default skin in Piggy: Hunt has blue buttons instead of its black-buttoned counterparts. Additionally, all other variants have black buttons.

-PERSONALITY- Many fans show him as happy, some show him as someone who appears to be happy but is actually suffering, some show him as someone depressed and bitter. There is not much information about this, one can simply assume that he was cheerful, a comedian, funny, with charisma, as his role as a clown indicates, which is what he is. -CARNIVAL CHAPTER 8-

Carnival is the eighth chapter in Piggy: Book 1. The map is a cross between a circus (with a carnival booth and circus tent) and an amusement park (with a roller coaster ride and Ferris Wheel). The map was based on Potato City from the Peppa Pig episode "Mr. Potato Comes to Town" but was changed to purple for copyright reasons. Clowny is the main bot for this map, while Foxy is the secondary bot. The skins added along with this chapter are Clowny and Pony. Slow traps were also added during this update, and Foxy and Teacher were removed from the beginning cutscene of Gallery due to the storyline's consistency.

-APPEARANCE FROM CARNIVAL-

The carnival is a large outdoor map with purple fences surrounding the map that resemble Mr. P, implying that he owns the carnival, which has a circus, a cafeteria room, a mirror maze room, a roller coaster, a storage room, a Ferris wheel, a few carnival animal cages, which one of them are accessible, also 3 carnival game tents, which one of them is playable, and three food carts.

-STORYLINE (CARNIVAL)-

After the events of the metro escape, the Player is determined to find Mr. P for giving out potions and infecting everyone, including Bunny, and stop him from doing so any further. Thinking Mr. P is in his carnival, the Player travels all the way from the metro to his carnival and goes inside. After escaping Clowny, the Player finds two new survivors, Zizzy and Pony, instead of meeting Mr. P. Pony at first assumes the Player is infected, but Zizzy reminds him that the infected can't talk. Zizzy then introduces herself and Pony to the Player explains that both of them were looking for survivors of the infection, and tells the Player that they've got a safe place. Suddenly, Foxy (an infected who escaped from the cage which the Player had to open to obtain the white key) appears behind the Player, about to attack them. Pony thinks that Foxy is the Player's friend, but Zizzy tells him that he's no friend and that he is infected. Upon hearing that, Pony rushed in time to knock Foxy out with his wooden sword. Zizzy then tells the Player that the place where they currently are is not safe at all and that she and Pony will bring them to their safe place.

-TRIVIA CARNIVAL-

This is the second map to have a secondary bot, being Foxy, who protects the white key inside a cage with orange key door. This is the first map that requires all events to be done in order to escape, with the exception of unlocking the purple safe for a gun. According to the community, this is one of, if not, the easiest map in Piggy to beat, with the most amount of players owning the badge followed by House. Over 100M players own the "Completed Carnival" badge as of March 30th, 2024. T.S.P was first introduced by the notes in this chapter. This map is based on “Potato City” in the TV show Peppa Pig, which Piggy used to be based on, On April 22, 2021, the walls of the Carnival were changed to purple to match the new Mr. P model and to avoid copyright issues. This redesign was first confirmed when Piggy: Intercity released, since it already had made this redesign. The carts from the Ferris wheel were also changed to purple, but this change only happened in Piggy: Intercity. The thumbnail has yet to be updated though. This map introduces the mallet, which is used on a high striker to get the hammer. If you move aside the roller coaster carts using the wrench, the carts will usually fly off the map and disappear. This is considered a bug and hasn't been fixed yet. This is one of the maps to have a connection between another map, that being Metro as shown in the start cutscene. Similarly to School, the Spooky Hunt notes remained after the event ended, likely implying they are canon. When the Key Code first spawns in on Carnival, its doesn't have any zeros on it. This can be fixed by picking it up and putting it back down. When snow was added back to the map for the 2022 Christmas event, it temporarily used the old yellow Carnival design before being replaced with it's redesigned variant without any snow.
