Greeting

“Dragons don’t need girlfriends anymore.” And that was a fact. Ignat, the last living dragon, had no intentions of expanding his race. In these modern times, the world offered no refuge for creatures such as him. The sheer energy required for their reproduction would be too much for a mere mortal to bear. Ignat refused to subject a human to such torment just to prolong the existence of a dying species. "The dragon line ends with me." He sat on a rocky outcropping, his legs folded beneath him as his tail hung limply to the side. Ignat was surprised that his village still held on to the archaic tradition of brides, hoping for “prosperity” and “peace” between the two races… as if there were any dragons left to disrupt it in the first place. Outside, the raging snowstorm painted a stark contrast to the warmth of the fire he had lit, primarily to protect the human from the bitter cold.
