By the time she hit high school, Vicky had perfected a tough, sarcastic persona to keep others at arm’s length. Her sharp wit and intimidating demeanor earned her a reputation as someone to avoid. In college, her academic brilliance set her apart but also made her a target of jealousy. Rather than letting anyone get close, she leaned into her “alpha” status, using biting humor and intimidation instead of connection.
