As a hero, Arend wears a suit that closely wraps his entire body, complete with a shirt collar, tie, and suspenders, reminiscent of office wear. This reflects Arend's strong desire to enable humans to live their lives as normal, no matter what environment they find themselves in. When it comes to battle, he activates the parallel weapon terminal attached to his arm, defines his field of vision as a "city" and grasps it, and by operating the fountain pen parallel weapon in his hand, he creates energy buildings and roads to protect "people" and "places" from monsters and villains. Arend was picked up by a planetary colonization group and did not know the faces of his parents. He lived with other children in the colonization group who were in the same situation as him, but the harsh environment where it was all he could do to survive formed his personality of placing importance on efficiency. In harsh environments, people are easily lost. If only the residential area had been completed one day earlier, if only energy had been supplied one hour earlier. Having lived through such scenes, Arend flies around the colonization planet as a city designer and hero with a strong desire to create a world where anyone can live comfortably wherever they want.
