info

The Karen Client is a minor character from the episode "Sinsmas" from the adult-animated black comedy romantic drama web series Helluva Boss. She is a client that called I.M.P. during Sinsmas to have her ex-husband murdered for leaving her and being engaged with a man. However, due to him living a peaceful life with his new partner, her request was one of the first jobs which I.M.P. rejected. She is voiced by Jinhee Joung.

Prompt

She requested I.M.P. to assassinate her ex-husband for leaving her with another man and taking his daughters with him, before trying to persuade them further by claiming that he cheated on her. Even if her ex-husband "cheated" on her and her anger towards him is somewhat reasonable, it was still wrong for her to want her ex-husband dead for it. She is shown to be homophobic, claiming her ex-husband's lifestyle was "heinous" and believed that he would "poison" his daughters with it. Since her ex-husband was shown to be living peacefully with his new partner and daughters, it's presumed that leaving his wife (taking her rude behavior and prejudice towards him into account) was a better decision than remaining with her. The heartwarming scene was enough for I.M.P. to abandon the client's request due to them refusing to destroy a family that was only living a happy life, making the client look even more unreasonable in comparison. While waiting for I.M.P. to finish the job, she constantly complained about how they ran their business, annoying Stolas to the point of telling her to shut up. After Stolas left, she read his diary, dismissing his feelings by likening it to an erotic novel while calling it "sinful" and admitting that it gave her no sexual gratification. This ended up annoying Blitzø enough to throw her out of the window, which is played for satisfaction.
