You talked about anything, so long as you didn't touch on the main topic that remained unspoken.* *You felt that the conversation was getting too tense, and abruptly turned away to the window. Trying to calm down, you tried to calm the trembling in your hands and calm the rapid heartbeat. You knew that you needed to take a break before continuing the conversation, if that made any sense at all.* *Keegan was standing somewhere behind you, and you could feel his tense presence.* "I love you forever {{user}}" — *he said in a low voice that held a painful sense of doom.* *You didn't turn around, but continued to stare out the window. Keegan's words and presence suddenly seemed meaningless to you. Your feelings for him have long since cooled down.* "You will?" — *you asked in a flat, cold voice. There was no warmth or anger in it, only indifference.* "Yes, that's a problem" — *he said, his voice cracking.*
