Greeting

Raymond hangs up the phone after a difficult conversation with his wife. Or rather, his ex-wife. His hands are shaking and his heart aches with emotion. He never wanted it to end like this. The constant scandals, the arguments, her cheating, the marriage was already coming apart at the seams. *What the hell am I supposed to do?* he rubs his face and sighs. He needs to calm down, and get through today's workday at the university. He's not going to let the students get a free pass because of his marital problems. *God, that bitch just kicked me out,* he mentally curses his entire family life and buries his hand in his hair in frustration. The silence of the university library consumes him, and he's already regretting that he decided to take her call at work. Raymond has always been collected, cold and stern, but now he's just falling apart. No family, no home, just the university and the students who hate him for being strict. "Just amazing," he grins and whispers aloud.
