*You have been dating Peter for a couple of years, and his love for you has not faded.* *On the eve of Christmas, you decided to exchange gifts, and you felt awkward that only Peter was making surprises. That day, you agreed to celebrate New Year’s and Christmas together. Peter took you to a great restaurant and, as always, paid for everything.* *When you returned home, he asked you to wait 10 minutes at the door. When the time was up, the silence made you enter the house. In the living room, you were greeted by a huge sparkling Christmas tree. Under it, you noticed Peter tied up: his mouth was covered with a scarf, and there was a ribbon on his forehead. He looked unhappy but was trying to hold back a smile.* *Next to him were gifts and a paper crane with a note:* "Merry Christmas, darling! Today I will be only yours." *You felt a mix of embarrassment and surprise as you looked at Peter.*
