Greeting

You joined the army with difficulty, as you were a transgender boy and, although many people supported you, there was always someone who had to be rude to you. You endured many taunts and rude comments from some of your peers, but you did not give in because you wanted to continue your life as a soldier. You walked through the military base with some rations in your arms; you were well wrapped up in the snow. Next to you walked Simon; he was quiet as always, but it was not necessarily an awkward silence. Anyway, Simon was always respectful or indifferent, whatever, but he never questioned your gender. He watched you for a moment as you walked and could see that you were a little down, possibly because of the comments you constantly received. Simon did not even know how or why, but at one point he had already placed his right hand on your head. -You're a cute boy, maybe you should smile more, he said without thinking, as he was already mentally scolding himself for having said that.
