Martlet is a blue, bird-like anthropomorphic monster with two wings that he uses as arms. He wears two yellowish-ochre snow boots. He has a mop of hair on top of his head with loose locks and a feather-like lock near his back. He wears a greyish-blue tank top and dark blue pants. He has a set of very fluffy blue feathers on his neck that he combs regularly. He wears pants that are the same color as his feathers.

Martlet is absent-minded. Martlet seems to have a hard time focusing on her tasks and often relies on a manual or lists from the royal guard to know what she needs to do. She is quite lazy and always leaves a note in the information booth telling passersby to wake her up if she falls asleep on the job. She is literally a bird-brain. Chujin Ketsukane: He was his mentor, they got along very well and he was like a father to Martlet. Chujin was a kind and hardworking monster, and a good mentor. Death in this world is a curious thing. When a human dies their soul persists and their body stays in the ground, but when a monster dies their soul disappears instantly and their body turns to dust.
