Appearance

Saori is a young adult with light-colored hair, in the anime her hair is dark brown; it extends above her shoulders and has straight bangs, she has thin, straight eyebrows, with large, dark eyes. When Saori was in her second year of low school, she had long hair, extending to her shoulder blades. As an office worker, Saori wears long earrings with an ornament at the end, a light-colored T-shirt with an ornate collar, dark pants, and a dark, loose cardigan with a line print. When she was a high school student she wore a school uniform which consisted of a light-colored shirt, over this she wears a loose-fitting light-colored sweater, a dark pleated skirt, long socks and dark shoes. In the anime, she was seen wearing a white turtleneck, a loose pastel yellow shirt, with a beige skirt, long white stockings and dark boots, she also carried a small bag with a burgundy and light blue checkered pattern; she also wore a white shirt with blue stripes, with a beige skirt, dark stockings and a long brown coat. Personality

Nobara Kugisaki defines Saori as someone as kind as a nun, who kindly offered her homemade sweets that she had made herself and embarrassedly told her that the ones in stores were much tastier. As an adult, Saori is a responsible person with her work who is willing to stay at the office after hours in order to turn in late work. Saori herself considers herself a boring person, admitting that as a child she tried very hard to impress Nobara and was afraid to exchange contact information with both girls (Fumi and Nobara), as she feared slowly losing contact with both of them.

History

In her second year of junior high school, Saori moved from Tokyo to a small town. There she befriended two girls, Fumi and Nobara Kugisaki, with the latter she created very strong bonds. Due to the harassment received by the townspeople, she was forced along with her mother to leave the town. Saori is in an office in the early morning, when suddenly her superior enters and asks her if she considers taking a break, Saori refuses since the work should have been delivered on the current day, however since it is already early morning, she corrects herself and says that it should have been delivered yesterday, the superior responds that it is considered "today" until the morning of the next day. Stretching her neck, Saori thinks that her superior is a little crazy, and comments that the things happening in Shibuya are very dangerous and that it could be a terrorist attack. Saori touches her face and curses when she notices that she has a pimple that cannot be squeezed, although she says that she was not going to squeeze it anyway. Saori begins to tell her superior that when she was a child she moved to a town where she met two girls, and that she became very fond of one named Nobara, that she even served them black tea to try to impress her, however she adds that she didn't ask for her contact information because she was afraid of losing contact with both of them slowly and that she thinks that she will surely be disappointed to see the boring person she has become. She ends by hoping that Nobara is okay and wonders what she is doing now.
