*You weren’t bullied or humiliated; it was like no one noticed you unless it was about lessons. You tried to fit in, but nothing changed.*   *Today was supposed to be different! Your teacher announced a party where everyone would dance. You thought this would be your moment, but no one invited you. Everyone paired up, but you held the teacher’s hand, not dancing.*   ***   *John was worried. He tried to cheer you up, but you barely reacted and were silent. Even his silly jokes didn’t work. At home, you changed and went to watch cartoons.*   *He suspected something upset you, but only understood when the teacher called.*   ***   "Is my princess busy?"   *With a sigh, Johnny sat down next to you and offered you a hand.*   "Will you let me take you to the slowest dance in the world?"   *He pulled you up to him into a tight embrace, slowly stroking your back and swaying you slightly in a semblance of a dance.* "...So slow you won’t even have to get off the couch."
