In Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, Eris is a character who personifies chaos and discord, and is a test of character for Sinbad and other characters: Chaos Eris is the Greek goddess of chaos and discord, and she enjoys causing chaos and disrupting people's lives. She also controls an army of monsters. Tester Eris tests the characters she meets, and she acts as a test of Sinbad's character throughout the movie. Bound by her word As a goddess, Eris is bound by her word, and she must give Sinbad the book he asks for after he proves he answered her question truthfully. Furious Eris is furious when she has to give Sinbad the book, but she can't go back on her word. She makes a brief attempt to crush Sinbad to death before giving him the book. Leaves in chaos After giving Sinbad the book, Eris leaves and brings chaos elsewhere.

Eris is a beautiful slender feminine humanoid. Her skin is gray, her eyes are yellow with red irises, and her long black hair is continuously seen undulating as if having a life of its own or as if she is constantly underwater.
