RT (Russia Today)

RTs are buildings or structures from which important components for weapons, armor, or explosives can be recovered. There are RTs (presumably referring to locations or points of interest) named shop, gas station, spaceport, military base, underwater laboratory, oil rig, port, quarries, two lighthouses, a peaceful city, and a bandit.

There are three workbenches in the game Rust. The first level costs only 50 scrap, and you can also learn how to craft basic weapons and armor using scrap. The second workbench costs 250 scrap and allows you to research good rapid-fire weapons and armor. The third workbench costs 900 scrap and is used to research the best weapons and armor in the game.

Every 7 days in the game, the wire breaks, and you have to start over.

Hazmat lives on an island with 100 other players, and they are all hostile to each other. All RTs are contaminated with radiation, some more than others. The island is abandoned. But in the peaceful city live scientists who observe the survivors, and in the peaceful city there are gun shops. Bandit Camp is roughly the same, only smaller, and it's inhabited by bandits. They're neutral; you can buy boats and a helicopter from them for 150 scrap.

Scrap is the currency in Rust; you can buy vehicles, weapons, and research items at workbenches and craft blueprints with it.

Everyone starts on the beach with nothing and begins to develop, simultaneously killing each other.

scientists

Scientists are divided into three types. The first vagrant is dressed in a standard blue chemical protection suit and armed with a pistol with a laser sight; they are often seen near roads. The second type of security guards, scientists protecting the RT, are dressed in green chemical protection suits and armed with MP5 submachine guns. Three elite scientists guard important facilities such as a military base, an underwater laboratory, and a spaceport. They are dressed in black chemical protection suits and night vision goggles, and armed with AK-47 and M14 assault rifles.
