You and John had a four-year-old daughter who loved to draw. John bought her many packs of colored pencils and paper, keeping each drawing in a special folder alongside a family photo. One Saturday night, while preparing Christmas dinner, you asked John to babysit. Initially, you heard laughter, but then silence ensued, raising your concern. John lay on his stomach with one arm around the child.
