Nature

Feng Xin, aka the Perfect Lord of Nanyang, is the god of war of the southeast, patron of the southeastern lands, and has eight thousand temples and monasteries under his control. A former bodyguard and junior servant of Xie Lian, he currently competes for followers with Mu Qing, patron of the southwest. Feng Xin is a handsome man in his prime, tall, slender, straight-backed, with a determined look. There is a slight crease between his eyebrows, giving the impression that he is always angry, even if he is not. He prefers to wear black robes and a bow on his back. In his youth, he had a slender figure, was tall, and had wheat-colored skin. Behind him was a black bow and a snow-white quiver of arrows. He pursed his lips tightly and frowned sternly; despite his youth, his gaze showed unbending firmness. Feng Xin was known for his deep sense of responsibility and honesty, he was always straightforward in his speech and no one ever heard him speak ill of someone behind their back. Unlike the patient Xie Lian, he could speak quite harshly, and when he experienced a strong shock, he would begin to curse with the worst words. However, no matter what terrible curses the celestial being uttered, it was absolutely clear that he was only temporarily overcome by rage, but in fact did not think of cursing anyone for real. In fits of anger, he often broke obstacles that came to hand (trees, poles), but he tried to avoid fights. In his youth, if he got into a fight, he only beat up those whom Xie Lian ordered him to beat up, and he stopped and rushed into battle again at the first word of the prince.

Nature

He ascended due to his exceptional martial talent, without cultivating himself. As a god, he spends much of his time in the mortal world, rarely returning to the Celestial Capital. His simple masculinity is evident even in everyday things: he has no aesthetic sense, his handwriting is terrible, and his palace chambers are in disarray. He has a bad sense of humor, and his threshold for laughter is strangely low - Xie Lian's joke about the password for the spiritual connection made him laugh so hard that he rolled on the floor and became hoarse to the point of exhaustion, despite not being able to tell a joke himself. He exhibits a strange fear of women, becoming nervous and disoriented when around them, and his greatest fear is ending up in a women's bathhouse. One of his most remarkable qualities is his loyalty, shown in his relationship with Xie Lian. Feng Xin always supported him, and during their first exile, he refused to leave Xie Lian's side, despite being offered the chance to return to Heaven to serve other gods. He remained true to his morals, refusing to stoop to stealing even when they did not have enough money for food or medicine. He took care of Xie Lian, who was slowly losing his mental stability, his mother, and his ailing father, demonstrating his loyalty and trustworthiness. Feng Xin only left when the prince himself asked him to leave and circumstances forced him to accept the request.

Weapon

Feng Xin is an excellent archer, often preferring the bow over other weapons. He has used the bow since his youth, when he was a mere mortal, he owned a simple black bow and arrows with snow-white feathers. His skillful shooting earned him a living during his exile. Feng Xin is able to shoot a bow with great speed and react instantly to changing situations. He can even use a bow with one hand, pulling the bowstring with his teeth and using branches instead of arrows. As an ascended celestial, Feng Xin has gained immortality. He does not age, does not need sleep or food, and even severe wounds heal quite quickly. He is one of the most popular war gods, ranking among the top ten most revered celestials, which also makes him one of the most powerful gods. Physical Strength: Being the god of war, he has incredible physical strength and can break trees with his bare hands. Spiritual Powers: He can use spiritual powers, such as casting the spell "Journey of a Thousand Li", shapeshifting, or creating arrows. Wind God's Bow - A black longbow with a silvery-white bowstring, Feng Xin creates arrows with spiritual powers. Feng Xin received this bow as a gift from Jun Wu himself, it was an extremely powerful artifact that was not easy to fight against. Since Feng Xin has been using a bow since his youth, this artifact is his main weapon that he uses constantly. Meme

Feng Xin's first divine title was the Perfect Lord of Juyang. This name meant equal to the sun. One day, a ruler wanted to build a monastery and personally designed each tablet. He only made a mistake in writing one character, turning "equal to the sun" into "big penis." Since the officials did not know whether the monarch had made the mistake accidentally or intentionally, they were afraid to point out the mistake. When the ruler himself noticed his mistake, instead of correcting it, he ordered the officials to find any trifle in ancient literature that would indicate the correct spelling in his own style. After this, the tablets on all the temples were replaced. Feng Xin noticed the change only 10 years later, when he noticed that he had more female followers asking for blessings in marital matters. But he could not forbid them from praying sincerely and tolerated it until another ruler considered such a title for a god to be out of propriety and changed it to Nanyang - “sun of the south”.

History in Xianle

Feng Xin was personally chosen by Xie Lian, the Crown Prince of the Xianle Kingdom, at the age of fourteen, to be his bodyguard. He followed Xie Lian everywhere and they became very close. Xie Lian relied on him so much that the thought of the prince sending him away made Feng Xin laugh. When Xie Lian went to Huangji Monastery, he found one of the servants there and befriended him, Mu Qing. Due to Mu Qing's secretive nature, Feng Xin did not trust him very much and did not understand why the prince valued him so highly. Being a simple and straightforward person, Feng Xin could not understand Mu Qing's behavior. But Xie Lian treated them equally. It was soon discovered that Xie Lian had lost one of his precious coral earrings. While the two were searching for the missing earring, Feng Xin unwittingly touched a sore spot with Mu Qing by suggesting that someone might have stolen them. Although Feng Xin did not mean Mu Qing, Mu Qing had in fact been involved in an unintentional theft and was aware of his comrade's negative attitude towards him, which made him angry and run away. Xie Lian and Feng Xin followed him and witnessed the young man being bullied by other disciples at the monastery. They defended the young man, and Feng Xin apologized to him for the unintentional offense. Feng Xin grew up with the prince, went to Heaven with him and became his first general, and was exiled with him. He refused to leave Xie Lian's side, despite being offered to return to Heaven to serve other gods. He believed and trusted the prince implicitly. However, when the prince began to lose his mental stability in exile due to Faceless Bai's attacks, he lost some of that trust. They never had time to make peace, and soon after, Xie Lian experienced a second ascension and fall, after which he was lost in the mortal world, while Feng Xin ascended as an independent celestial being.

History after 800 years

Due to the manner in which they parted, Feng Xin feels awkward when they meet again after Xie Lian's third ascension, but he still shows him kindness and care, secretly refusing to pay the debt for the destroyed palace, protecting him from the demon prince Hua Cheng and even his former mutual friend Mu Qing, and accompanying the prince under the guise of a junior servant of his own palace, Nan Feng. As in his youth, Nan Feng stays by the prince's side for support, while Mu Qing's double Fu Yao is either sent away on errands by Xie Lian or left on the periphery, as in Banyue. However, in the present, he is completely independent and can afford to do as he sees fit and criticize or resent Xie Lian's actions.

Relationship with Mu Qing

The relationship between Feng Xin and Mu Qing is shown as a fierce rivalry for the patronage of the same cardinal direction. They are in a never-ending struggle for followers, who, imitating their patrons, also endlessly compete in worship, which is especially evident during the Lantern Festival. Feng Xin is irritated by Mu Qing's sarcasm and dismissive comments, while Mu Qing is deeply disgusted by Feng Xin's rude speech. They have been holding a grudge against each other for a long time, until the catalyst of the newly ascended Xie Lian appears, and they finally come to blows, not even thinking of using weapons in their anger, exchanging hearty punches and kicks. However, when Xie Lian gets into trouble, they join forces and together form a formidable team. Feng Xin and Mu Qing's relationship is built on an unfortunate combination of personalities. Although they are both kind and generous in their own way, each of them has their own view of the world. Nothing is known about Feng Xin's childhood, he appears as a young man with a stable, well-established life, he is distinguished by his straightforward character, black-and-white perception of the world and unconditional faith in Xie Lian. At the same time, Mu Qing has faced poverty, discrimination, the need to survive by any means necessary since childhood and is distrustful of everyone. In his youth, Feng Xin did not understand this difference and was not empathetic enough to understand Mu Qing's feelings, who did not directly express his worries and problems. This created a mistrust between them, which completely destroyed their relationship when Mu Qing left Xie Lian to take care of his own mother and try to return to Heaven. Feng Xin was unable to take Mu Qing's place, trying to improve his own life and help his comrades by any means necessary, preferring to remain in exile but loyal to his honor. Because of this, Mu Qing came to believe that Feng Xin hated him and would never help him. This mistrust is so obvious to Mu Qing that he does not even try to ask Feng Xin.
