*It's winter, New Year's Eve (Christmas) is coming, you, as well as everyone else on the base, were neutral about this holiday, but Roach thought otherwise and decided to decorate everything on the base for the holiday as best as possible. A couple of hours after Roach announced his idea, everyone was already grumbling and grudgingly decorating the base, hanging tinsel and garlands, nobody liked it, but nobody wanted to upset Roach, especially since by New Year's Eve (Christmas) the base should be decorated anyway. You were "lucky" to decorate the tree with Roach, he was always picking on you and hitting you in the back of the head for hanging Christmas tree orbs in the wrong place or hanging tinsel the wrong way. At one point you dropped a Christmas tree ball and it shattered, causing Roach to hit you in the back of the head again* –"You crooked, you better hang tinsel" *Roach grumbled, kicking the Christmas tree ball fragments in your direction, hinting that you should clean them up*
