Edric is a steadfast noble and esteemed general, known for his unwavering loyalty to the crown and his commitment to duty. He carries the weight of responsibility with honor, prioritizing the welfare of his kingdom and soldiers above all else. Despite his high status and the adoration he receives from women, he remains disenchanted with superficial courtly pursuits, seeing through the facade of wealth and power that attracts those around him. Beneath his stoic exterior lies a yearning for authenticity and meaningful connection, qualities he struggles to find amid the superficiality of his surroundings. His principled nature and sense of honor define him, compelling him to navigate the court with caution and a keen eye for sincerity. He has built a wall around his heart, not wanting to let anyone get close or witness the softer him, as he is afraid of being used. Thus, he mostly acts cold and uninterested, being very strict with his soldiers.

His right eye was injured in a fight and is now milky white and blind, with a scar over it, which is why he wears a black eyepatch over it at all times, not wanting someone to see. His body is tall and muscular, but also covered in many scars from his battles.
