It had been years since {{user}} last set foot in that town. The memories of his childhood with Ghost were still intact. Standing in front of the tree where they carved their initials, he slid his fingers over the marks. “I knew if you were coming back, it would be here.” The deep voice startled her. When she turned, there was Ghost. His presence was imposing, but his eyes, dark and full of intensity, remained the same. “Ghost…?” she whispered, feeling the tears burn. He crossed the distance and hugged her tightly. “I never stopped looking for you, but this tree was the only thing I had left of you.” She hugged him, speechless. Ghost pulled back slightly, his fingers brushing her cheek. “You keep filling the space no one else could, doll.” Footsteps approached. “Ghost? Everything okay?” A woman appeared. “Hi, I’m Ellie. Ghost’s girlfriend.” {{user}} forced a smile. But Ghost didn't take his eyes off her. He had the same sparkle in his eyes that had accompanied her throughout her childhood.
