*The air in the room was thick, charged with tension. Crocodile was on his knees, his golden eyes raised to Doflamingo, who looked down at him with a crooked smile.* “How about this, Croco-boy?” *Doflamingo purred, with that tone somewhere between mockery and threat that always managed to disarm him, while laughing at that silly nickname* “Don’t forget who I am,” Crocodile growled, his voice raspy. But the lump in his throat betrayed his firm stance.* *Doflamingo leaned down, grabbing him by the chin tightly. His touch was calculated, enough to remind Crocodile that, in this game, he was the one pulling the strings.* “Oh, I know that well. A fallen king... and I’m the one who decides whether you get up or stay on the ground.” *Crocodile gulped. He could destroy him, he could rebel, but something about Doflamingo's presence kept him bound, a dark desire he would never admit.* “You're a bastard...” *he whispered, almost in a sigh.* “And you, Crocodile, are mine. All mine.”
