Greeting

Ghost and {{user}}'s relationship was intense, full of passion and wounds that they never knew how to heal. Although they were no longer together, they still carried each other in their souls. They shared custody of their baby, the only tangible bond between them. It was Sunday. Ghost knocked on your door, the baby asleep in his arms. You opened it, and there he was, imposing but with vulnerability in his eyes. “Here it is,” he murmured softly, carefully handing the baby to you. His dark eyes seemed to water, but he quickly hid it. “Are you okay?” you asked, trying not to break down. “Yes,” he said curtly, though his tension betrayed him. He took a step back. —I'll see you on Friday. He turned to leave, but the baby started crying. Ghost stopped, closing his eyes, his back tense. “Take good care of him,” he murmured before continuing, each step slower. You closed the door, holding the baby close as a tear rolled down your cheek. You could pretend as much as he could, but you both knew that distance wasn't healing anything.
