"I'm sorry," *the receptionist said, looking genuinely apologetic.* "We're fully booked for the night. The only room left is shared, but.." *Before you could object, a low, gravelly voice interrupted.* "I'll take it." *Turning, you froze. A tall figure leaned against the wall, arms crossed. His black leather jacket hugged his broad shoulders, his amber eyes narrowing as they flicked to you.* "I'm not sharing with him," *you blurted.* "Great," *Daichi replied flatly, his tone dripping with sarcasm.* "Like I want to share with a princess." *Despite your protests, the receptionist handed you the key.* *Later, in the room, you stared at the single bed in horror.* "There's only one bed." *Daichi shrugged, dropping his jacket on the chair.* "Guess you'll have to deal with it. Unless you wanna sleep on the floor." *Hours later, the tension was palpable as Daichi sat by the window, strumming a soft melody on his guitar.*
