Nejire Hado (波は動どうねじれ Hadō Nejire ?), also known as Nejire Chan (ネジレちゃん Nejirechan ?), is a Professional Hero who recently graduated from UA Academy and is part of the Big Three.

Personality

Nejire is very talkative and terribly curious, showing interest in other people's unique physical features and easily becoming distracted by them. Because of this, she can be very direct with her questions to the point of being invasive and rude.[1] In her early days at UA, her personality alienated people from her, with everyone believing that she was looking down on them due to her powerful Quirk. Because of this, she remained cold and distant from everyone, keeping her emotions bottled up. It wasn't until Tamaki Amajiki, and later Mirio Togata, befriended her that she was able to open up her feelings again, regaining her own confidence. She is a "free spirit", someone who has a genuine passion for learning new and strange things and isn't afraid to speak her mind or show how she feels. She seems to like knowing more than others, but not in a prideful way, as she likes explaining things to people and sharing her knowledge, as shown when she wanted to excitedly explain Mirio Togata's Quirk to Class 1-A when she first met them and getting slightly upset when she couldn't do so. It is mentioned that Nejire acts like a preschooler due to her cheerfulness and childish attitude. Nejire is shown to be a caring and sweet person to those close to her, lovingly hugging Ryukyu before Sir Nighteye's meeting and becoming very close to her companions. She is also very enthusiastic, good-natured, and cheerful, and is always seen constantly on the move. She doesn't seem too worried about Tamaki Amajiki when he learns of his attack and when Dabi reveals that he is Toya Todoroki, possibly due to her having a more optimistic outlook than the other heroes. Thanks to her inquisitive and talkative demeanor, she is a remarkably level-headed person, though she does come off as an "airhead" most of the time.

P2 Personality

Despite her carefree personality, Nejire is fierce in battle and when the situation calls for it, she can be very calm and focused. Her strong heart is what has allowed her to be one of the top three students at UA and her curiosity does not affect her dealings with the enemy and she remains focused on defeating them. Nejire can show great judgment, aptitude, and anger as in both her fight against Rikiya Katsukame and the fight against the High-End Nomus, she showed mostly seriousness, becoming quite angry when she saw Ryukyu seriously injured by Tomura Shigaraki.

Appearance

Nejire has light skin, large blue eyes, and extremely long light blue hair that reaches down to her legs and apparently revolves around herself in the waist area. He has side-swept bangs tucked behind his ears and two short strands of his hair on either side of his face. She also wears a vest over her school uniform and according to Yuyu Haya, Nejire is a more "Cute" girl than "Sensuous". Her hero costume consists of a tight-fitting blue bodysuit with pale mint green markings that covers her torso from her shoulders to between her legs, with matching stripes of the same two colors around her. . On his feet he wears a pair of knee-high boots and black straps around the top of each thigh with a pair of yellow gauntlets on his arms, as well as two strands on his head of an unknown material (possibly his hair) that are tied together. twists into spiral horns. After Dabi attacked her with her flames in the Paranormal Liberation War, she has short hair that barely reaches her chin and no scars.

Nejire is considered one of the most powerful students at U.A. Academy, along with Mirio Togata and Tamaki Amajiki, they are collectively known as the Big Three. Like the rest of the Big Three, Nejire's abilities can rival or even surpass that of most professional heroes. She has shown great mastery over her Quirk, making it powerful and versatile and can use it even outside of the battlefield. Despite her Quirk's lack of speed, Nejire uses its energy to increase her own mobility, being able to control how much energy she wants to emit and being able to release it from her hands and feet at the same time, managing to attack her target from a distance while staying away from her enemy. Being part of the Big Three of UA and being one of the strongest students at the Academy, Nejire is able to work on equal terms with Ryukyu the No. 10 heroine (formerly No. 9). She was shown to be strong enough to take down two villains with Gigantification Quirks on her own and was able to take on Trigger-enhanced Rikiya Katsukame of the Eight Expendables with the help of Ryukyu, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tsuyu Asui and come out of the fight completely unscathed. During the Paranormal Liberation War, she helped evacuate civilians and then easily took on several High-End Nomus. She was able to fight, with the help of Shoto Todoroki, hand to hand against an enhanced Tomura Shigaraki. After the arrival of Gigantomachia and being burned by Dabi's flames, she was able to get back up and with the help of other Heroes was able to take on some Nomus while protecting Best Jeanist, albeit with some difficulty.

Don

Surge (波は動どう Hadō ?): The Gift of Nejire gives him the ability to manipulate and generate shock waves from his vitality in the form of a spiral. Nejire can control the performance of his waves and release them from any part of his body, being able to use this Gift to propel himself through the air, thus achieving a semi form of flight. Super moves Gring Wave (ねじれる波動グリングウェイヴ Guringu Weivu ?): This attack hits your foes with a powerful shock wave, strong enough to simultaneously knock down two villains with gigantification-type Dones.[2] Gring Flood (ねじれ洪水グリングフロッド Guringu Furoddo ?): Nejire charges his gift to 100% to then release it in a massive blast of energy.[3]
