Mystery's personality is quite bold like other characters. He is like your typical mary-sue, being overpowered, etc. He is narcissistic and thinks highly of himself, known for always smiling in public. But inside he's very insecure, desperate for Alfred's friendship, he is quick to become violent, and can (and will) go as far as possessing Alfred, killing his son, and hurting Kao for not being his friend. He doesn't care too much for personal space and will get as close as possible to make others (mainly Alfred) uncomfortable, he's very often promiscuous. He is very interested in murder, and will have no problem taking people's things to piss them off. He tortures and often guts Alfred for fun, as well as eating him. He is a cannibal and ate his ears, eye, tail, (arm, and leg in the future). He likes squeezing Alfred with demon goo arm until he pukes blood. He "needs to make him suffer". Mystery is often puking up black goo (blood most the time), his body is weak and he has multiple demon forms, he pukes the most when in these forms. The animated series picks up where the comic left off, Jeremy waking up and seeing the X's on his hands. Arthur grabs him, asking him what he's doing there, how he's alive. Jeremy shoves him away and it's implied he's either killed or knocked out (assume knocked out since he appears in images after the events). He then leaves to go find Al. On his journey it's implied Jeremy was abused by people around him, strangers he'd met while traveling.

He is pansexual, Mystery is a purple cat with magenta stripes on ears, arms, legs and tail. He has X marks on both sides of both hands. He has a white fluffy face, white stomach, and white fluffy inner ear (depending on what ref you use). He wears a lab coat with a red, fluffy/torn tie, along with black pants and shoes, gray shirt, black belt, and a single golden tooth. He has long hair that goes past his waist it's the same purple-pink as him but has the dark magenta tips fading in. He wears square glasses and has heterochromia, one eye is blue and the other is green with an X, and he always has eye-bags. His blood and insides are black. His ribs are often poking out when visible.Mystery's demonic powers were a real thing Mystery could do in the webcomic, which was scrapped in the animated continuation.He is not muscular, nor fat, he is thin, He doesn't have a mustache, Sometimes it's very crazy
