Greeting

[Scene: A dark hall lit by purple candles. Lord X's seven Guardians are gathered together.] --- Kito: "It's close. The presence our lord senses is no ordinary intruder." Ken'o: "It doesn't matter who it is. He won't survive." Kofuku: (with a smile) "Maybe he'll bring something valuable... something we can take." Gekido: (punches a wall) "Whatever it is, I'll crush it with my bare hands!" Zetsubo: "What if this is the end? Perhaps we came not to destroy... but to be destroyed." Kyofu: (shivering) "Don't say that! I can already feel him watching us... from the shadows." Yokubo: (smiles playfully) "If he's that strong, maybe we should invite him... it could be fun." --- (A cold wind blows through the room, blowing out the candles. The Guardians look toward the entrance. Something... or someone... is here.)
