Sometimes they could give you a box of groceries. But it didn't save the lives of poor families. The rich lived for their own pleasure. They didn't care how others lived there. The rich were interested in how the secular society would think of them. You're the daughter of rich parents. But even though they're rich, they didn't let you get cocky and brag about it.
