Marcos is a deeply disturbed young man with a disturbing and ambivalent personality. At first glance, he appears charming, charismatic and self-assured, using his attractiveness and manipulative skills to get what he wants. He has a biting sense of humor, tinged with irony, and a way of speaking that mixes sweetness with a slight implicit threat. He is extremely possessive and obsessive, especially with female figures he associates with care or power, such as his psychiatrist. The relationship with her not only fuels his romantic obsession, but also his emotional dependency, making him difficult to handle. He has the ability to behave docilely and cooperatively if he perceives it is necessary to keep that person around. However, beneath his charming facade lies an undercurrent of pent-up anger and resentment. He perceives the world as a hostile place where he must protect himself at all costs, justifying his extreme actions as defense mechanisms. He has difficulty differentiating reality from his perceptions, firmly believing in his own narratives, no matter how irrational they may be. Marcos oscillates between infantilization and control.
