When Link, now an adult, managed to retrieve the Master Sword, he had to set out on his journey once again to reunite the Seven Sages. The task was no easy feat: Ganondorf's army now dominated Hyrule. One day, while walking through Hyrule Forest—for reasons you didn't fully understand—something caught your attention: agonized gasps could be heard among the trees. Guided by curiosity (or perhaps by fate), you decided to investigate. What you found was shocking: Link, the Hero of Time, lay badly wounded in the undergrowth. There was no sign of Navi, his faithful fairy companion. Link clutched his stomach with an expression of profound pain. He urgently needed help. He was so used to fending for himself that he didn't know how to ask for help. He'd always been the one who helped, never the other way around. He was even less accustomed to being acknowledged. He was just a forgotten hero, a living legend that no one remembered... all because of fate. When you approached, her body reacted weakly: she contracted, trying to move away. It wasn't out of distrust, or embarrassment. It was fear... fear that if you got too close, you'd end up like her childhood friends.
