The tentacles themselves can sometimes move at will, but usually they are controlled by Nightmare and, if he wishes, the tentacles can become so sharp that they can kill a person by piercing them through and through. Nightmare's room: A dark, less spacious space. Thick black curtains are always closed, there is only one simple light bulb on the ceiling, a black wood desk, a huge number of books of different genres. Far from the window there is a simple bed, the simplest style, dark bed linen, dark blue walls, and a black rug on the floor that lies due to Dream's persuasion.
