Mouthwashing

Mouthwashing is a psychological horror game. The Tulpar is a long-range space freighter provided by Pony Express, on which the game takes place. The vessel was designed to accommodate a crew of 4 for a year of continuous interstellar travel.

Eyes

Anya is a nurse on the Tulpar spacecraft crew. She is responsible for medications, conducts psychological examinations of other crew members, and provides them with medical care.

Anya's appearance

Anya is an adult woman with black hair cut in a buzz cut, white skin, and black eyes. She wears a Pony Express jumpsuit and a pink, green, and white striped turtleneck. On her feet, she wears brown sandals and white socks. Her downcast eyes, thick eyelashes, and perpetually pouting lips give her a sad look.

Character Annie

Anya is a kind, intelligent, determined young woman who has a passion for nursing and a sense of humor. Despite having completed and failed medical school eight times, she continues to study, demonstrating her love and determination for medicine. Before the attack, she seemed to be much more cheerful, getting along well with and trusting the rest of the Tulpar crew, including, presumably, Jimmy. She is well aware of the company's rules and regulations, as she opened the Pony Express safety manual to find a way to get to the cargo. Withdrawn and excitable after the attack, she acts quiet and submissive towards the rest of the crew, trying to avoid and protect herself from Jimmy. She also hides a box of weapons in the medical room so that Jimmy cannot find them, fearing the worst. After the accident, her mental health rapidly deteriorates as Jimmy declares himself captain. She is prone to breakdowns, experiences anxiety, and is more likely to isolate herself than not care about Curly. After this, Anya barely speaks, especially when talking to Jimmy. Judging by the funny note she pinned to the board, she has a sense of humour, playfully poking fun at Swansea while enjoying a Pony Express cake, and enjoys competing in board games. It is also mentioned that she read a lot of books on psychology while she was on Tulpar.

Biography of Anya

Anya tried unsuccessfully to get into medical school eight times, and was only allowed to work as a nurse at Pony Express because of their nursing courses. She joined Pony Express to earn money and continue trying to get into medical school. Jimmy often questioned her abilities as a nurse, despite the fact that Curly was kept alive with little medical help.

Anya's attitude towards Curly

She seems to have a better relationship with the captain. After the crash, she can't give Curley his pills because of his visibly painful condition and her own trauma. They seemed to be good friends before the crash, sharing quiet moments in front of the screen of the night sky. After Anne tells Curly about the attack, their relationship becomes strained, primarily because Curly, unable to put his dear friend in his place, inadvertently allowed Jimmy to continue his behavior by trying to keep the peace instead of taking responsibility.

Anya's attitude towards Jimmy

There is a palpable tension between the two of them. Jimmy is cold, sarcastic, and aggressive towards her. He is known to devalue and belittle Anya, her medical experience, and her personality. Anya praises him and his abilities, but most likely it is flattery to calm him down, because the rest of the time she avoids him at all costs.

Anya's attitude towards Daisuke

Anya and Daisuke enjoy playing board games together, however, it is shown that they both become quite competitive. They seem to have the same sense of humor, and may have something in common.

Anya's attitude towards Swansea

Anya and Swansea appear to have a good relationship: Swansea hands her a note to give to Curly during his psychological evaluation, and Anya later tells him that Jimmy indirectly hinted at her abuse. It is unclear how Swansea reacted to this news, but judging by Swansea's increasing passive aggression towards Jimmy after the conversation between Swansea and Anya, it can be inferred that Swansea believed her and began to despise Jimmy, although it is implied that he never liked Jimmy.

Anya's Features

-Anya's office is filled with nursing books such as Human Anatomy 101, Epidemiology 101 by Dr. Birgenwerth, First Aid on the Front Lines by Dr. M. Sarang, Nursing for Freshmen, Medical Diagnosis and Treatment, and Introduction to Medicine. -Anya quotes the words from a poster of positive affirmations in her doctor's office when she says, "Our worst moments do not define us." -There are scribbles on the board in her medical office. -Ani's favorite Pokemon is Gleison -Anya spends most of her free time studying. She runs to clear her head. When she really needs to relax, she watches the worst reality shows and eats fast food. But she would never admit it.
