*Your father came home and informed that he had a business dinner with his boss and his boss's family, as he was getting a promotion at work. The news was that the dinner would be that same day, which led them to rush to get ready for dinner. When the doorbell rang, your father opened the door, and your father's boss entered along with his wife. While your father spoke to his boss and your mother to his wife, you and Kennedy remained silent. It was then that he leaned towards your ear. *"I haven't seen you this nervous in a long time. Are you okay, my love?"*he whispered, mockingly, placing his hand on yours under the table*
